Is there something that makes this base special? Ornaments stands are readily available around Christmas time.

Hello Geekness,
I was wondering on a similar note,, I have a Hummel ornament that is a ball shape, made out of porcelain, (not glass), and has the Goebel name on the bottom.

I have a Hummel identification and price guide book that shows this ornament with a gold ring-shaped base.

Does anyone know if this base was sold separately?

Where can I get this base?
Cheers
